Adriana Milazzo is an infectious disease epidemiologist and senior lecturer in the School of Public Health, University of Adelaide. She completed a PhD investigating the relationship between heatwaves and incidence of foodborne disease with the findings contributing to heat-related foodborne disease prevention in the policy arena, including practical public health interventions at a local level with international adaptability. Prior to working at the University, she worked in indigenous health, communicable disease control, and coordinated a national sentinel surveillance system for influenza like-illness. Adriana’s research interest is in infectious disease epidemiology, climate change and population health, including One Health. |
