Professor Andrew Wilson

Executive Dean, Faculty of Health,

Queensland University of Technology

 Professor Wilson has held previous appointments as Deputy Director General Policy, Strategy and Resourcing, Queensland Health; Professor Public Health, School of Population Health and Deputy Dean and Director of Research Faculty of Health Sciences University of Queensland; and Chief Health Officer and Deputy Director General Public Health, NSW Health. He has specialist qualifications in clinical medicine and public health, and a PhD in epidemiology. His research interests concern the application of epidemiology to informing decision making in clinical medicine, public health, and health service policy and planning.
