Workshop: Epi-in-the-Vineyard - Bias and Missing data (with Ian Dohoo)
The first edition of ‘Epi-in-the-Vineyard’ will be held in Tanunda (South Australia) in the heart of the Barossa Valley from April 3rd to 7th, 2017.
This is the first of a (hopefully) long series of epidemiology workshops in great Australian wine regions. The concept is simple and effective: ‘balancing the study of epidemiology with the relaxing tasting of local wine products’.
It did not take much effort to convince Professor Ian Dohoo, author of Methods in Epidemiologic Research, and wine enthusiast himself, to instruct this workshop on Study Bias and missing data.
The purpose of this 5-day, application oriented course is to provide veterinary and medical researchers with tools for dealing with two common problems in observational epidemiology – bias and missing data.
Further information about the workshop content and registration can be found in the attached flyer or on the dedicated website: Epi in the Vineyard. There is a special offer for a second graduate student only available until January 31st, 2017.
