TESIGEach year the AEA offers Top Student Prizes for students who achieve the highest mark in an Introductory Epidemiology or Biostatistics course. The prize is a one-year student membership to the AEA.

Two students per institution, per year can be awarded a prize, and students in both undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes within Schools of Public Health across Australia and New Zealand are eligible to be nominated. Course coordinators will be contacted through CAPHIA (Council of Academic Public Health Institutions) and relevant New Zealand universities (identified by NZ AEA branch representative) to nominate the top two students for 2017.
